Chen Family | Maternity

What a beautiful Fall it has been!

On a perfectly colorful and clear day just a few weeks ago I had the privilege of spending the day with dears friends as we anticipated the arrival of their first baby. To our surprise that little baby was born just a week after these photos were taken and I cannot wait to meet her soon!

Jacob and Jackie, I smile every time I think about your growing family, knowing that this season of life is an answer to so many prayers and the reason for great celebration!!

Rebecca Turns One

It always amazes me how much change happens in the first year of a baby’s life. When I first met Rebecca, she was tiny and snugly…six months later she could sit and play…and she is now a year old, clapping, dancing, water loving and has the best smile!

My time with this sweet is always wonderful and it is a joy to capture these milestones as Rebecca continues to grow.

Lucas | Six Months

I have loved the opportunity to capture this sweet family grow over the years!

The last time I saw little Lucas, he was tiny and sleepy and so much has changed in six months! I can’t imagine how different he will be when I see him again to celebrate his first birthday, but one thing I know will remain the same, the amount of love this family has for each other will continue to be evident.

Tony and Deborah | Wedding

It was fun to celebrate Deborah and Tony’s engagement earlier this year, but what a joy it was to celebrate their love in the presence of God, family and friends on a beautiful spring afternoon!

This special day was filled with so much laughter their faces hurt and I wish them this same joy throughout their marriage journey. May their faces hurt from laughing again and again! May their love grow in ways they didn’t know possible! May their faith be tried and triumphant! May their commitment be an example to everyone in their lives!

Tony and Deborah, what an honor it was to be able to celebrate with you and be a witness to so many blessings!

Tony and Deborah | Engagement

It was bright, it was windy, it was cold and it was such a joy to spend this unusually sunny Seattle day with Tony and Deborah. We tried to not fly away during our time at Gas Works Park and while these two make it look cozy, I could hardly feel my finger pressing the shutter button.

While I am excited for warmer days ahead, I am even more excited to photograph Tony and Deborah’s wedding day in the Spring! Stay tuned.
